Description

The Maul is a fairway driver made for turnover shots. It resembles our popular River, in both speed and glide but is more understable. This disc is a very good choice for beginners and amateurs, since it is easy to grip and control, and won’t fade as much as high speed drivers.

Things you should know

Please note that product images may differ slightly from the actual product. Additionally, the shade of disc color may vary; for example, blue may range from baby blue to sky blue. Foil stamp colors are assorted unless otherwise stated.

Opto Air

Opto is made out of some of the world's most durable plastics. It comes in a variety of beautiful translucent colors. The Opto plastic has been developed to withstand severe punishment and extreme conditions better than other plastics. Discs in this plastic may sometimes contain some sparkle (dots).

For the Opto Air the same material is used as our durable Opto Line plastic. It is however slightly modified with a different process to achieve a stunning result of lighter weight discs, but keeping the same weight distribution as close as possible to the Opto and Gold Line discs.

Opto air maul

Marty age 56 Been throwing for about three years I have a slow arm the opto air maul is a great disc for people like me it goes straight and glides for ever.Great disc for wood courses. I would recommend it for beginners and intermediate. I just wish they would release more for the people in the US. Keep up the good work Latitude 64. I will be ordering some spares just in case I lose this one.

Approach

I use a Keystone for approach shots. As a x frisbee guy I enjoy the glide and it goes right where I point it.

Hi Robert,

Thank you for the review. I'm happy to hear you enjoy the Keystone. :)

under the radar zinger

I am someone who leans heavily on air discs and thought to date, my air Jade was the best disc in my bag. Not any more. This air Maul does what it says on the tin. It glides forever and if not over torqued? Will be laser straight. Unbelievable disc

Hey Davina,

Thanks for the review.
I'm happy to hear you enjoy the Opto Air Maul. :)
