The Maul is a fairway driver made for turnover shots. It resembles our popular River, in both speed and glide but is more understable. This disc is a very good choice for beginners and amateurs, since it is easy to grip and control, and won’t fade as much as high speed drivers.

Great disc
This disc has the best release from the hand. It also glides very well.
An extremely reliable disc. It has a permanent spot in my bag. I like it even better than my Fuse but don't tell Jonathan.

Excellent complement to River
I've been in love with the River for a few years now; we sort of bonded. But I threw the Maul for the first time last Saturday, and I wish I'd gotten it months ago when somebody talked it up to me. It flies so straight for me! It's like my River but it goes further and maybe a little straighter (if that's possible). Like the River, it feels really good in my. It's distance is terrific. For me, it's got similar distance to the Saint but without the Saint's fade. For distance and dependable flight, this is my new pick!
