What can i say - it's everything i thought it would be. Bt hard Crown is my main putter so i decided to give it a try in vip plastic. Wow! Great feel and flight with a nice fade at the end and quickly became my throwing putter. Not too deep, not too shallow, pretty flat , great feel in hand and very true to the flight numbers.
I'v been throwing and putting with soft crows for years now but I have been missing premium throwing putter. When I heard about kids series crowns I knew I had to get some and boy was I not dissapointed. They fly exactly how you you release them just like the soft ones but resist torque better so great for driving putters. Great bit sticky feel on the plastic too so good on the more wet conditions also.
Don’t get me wrong, the Crown is my absolute favorite putter in the game. My biggest issue with Crowns is the availability of plastics. Of all the plastics that Westside offers, the crown gets very little love. No tournament, no Ice, no Metal Flake, no Glimmer, no factory dyes. Even glow was only done once. I mean, I was ecstatic for the chance to get a new premium crown, and while the VIP plastic doesn’t disappoint, it would be really nice to see Westside do something for us devoted Crown throwers. As for the new VIP Crowns, I find the plastic to be a little tackier, a little more flexible, and a bit less height to the flight plate(I hesitate to call the old VIP Crowns dome-y). They throw amazingly! Just as a Crown will. This is the Crown I throw when I need a stable flight with a predictable fade on the finish. Beat it in over a couple seasons and you’ll have a nice, slight flip to flat high speed flight, or the predictable stable slow speed flight.
Either way, Westside, please bring a special Crown to the table for people like me.

More stable then i thought, but great to have a disc with distance driver range with fairway drive control.
