Stumbled upon the Halo whilst testing out drivers when shifting from backhand to forehand and was stunned, the effortless distance and those straight low shots. I've not been able to reproduce the same consistancy with any other driver so I'm still on the Halo train. Great to see them in production again, too bad they've got a little more dome than a forehand guy would like.

Easily my favorite high speed driver of all time. I throw at an altitude of over 7000 feet, and I believe the disc flies true to flight numbers in these conditions. At lower altitudes, previous runs of this disc could be somewhat understable. However, these new discs in Opto-Ice are magnificent. They have more dome than most previous runs, and are more overstable. There's something about the way the rim feels in the hand, it feels so much better than most 13-speed drivers in my opinion. In the hand it feels like the famed Destroyer (12-speed), but is faster. So far, at my high altitude, it's my go-to for maximum distance straight drives. It just seems to cut through the air so cleanly and wants to stay up in the air until the end of time. Love it.

I had an opto halo once long ago and it had the perfect flight for those long distance flex shots and straight shots with that dependable fade with a huge skip. As soon as a I threw this one brand new it was like someone gave me my old disc back. The new plastic feels gummier but more rigid too if that makes sense. 10/10 would recommend.

I've always loved the Halo. Been carrying around some old gold lines for years. So I was pumped to see them in the opto I've line. Great reliable lines. You can throw it on a flex and know it'll come back.
